Reimagining Secret Santa for a Greater Cause
In previous years, Secret Santa was a fun way for our team to exchange gifts and share laughter. But in 2024, we decided to make this tradition even more special by aligning it with Netier’s commitment to community support.
Instead of buying gifts, each participant donated up to A$30 to a charity chosen by their Secret Santa match. This small change brought a deeper sense of purpose to our celebrations, allowing team members to support causes close to their hearts while embracing the true spirit of giving.
Following its success, we continued this initiative in 2025 proving that even small acts of generosity can create a big impact.
Bringing Joy with Make-A-Wish Australia’s Trees of Joy
Netier proudly participated in Make-A-Wish Australia’s Trees of Joy, a unique holiday initiative that pairs supporters with wish children to design custom Christmas trees. These trees are delivered to the families to keep forever, bringing their festive dreams to life.
This year, we received a special request from Patrick, a Pokémon-themed Christmas tree filled with Pikachu and friends. Our team loved the challenge and created a tree that captured Patrick’s imagination, complete with themed decorations and gifts. It was an honour to help make his holiday season unforgettable.
Packing Supertees for Kids in Hospitals
Before our annual Christmas party in Canberra, the Netier team came together for a Supertee packing event. Supertee is a non-profit that provides superhero-inspired medical garments to children facing serious illnesses.
Our team packed 288 Supertees, including Marvel, Space Commander, and Ballerina editions. From writing personal cards to adding thoughtful touches, every step was hands-on and heartfelt. Netier’s partnership with Supertee began in 2022, and we continue to raise funds through initiatives like our limited-edition pink caps because every child deserves a moment of joy during tough times.
