My journey with Netier began in 2019. I was asked to help out with marketing while the Jess (Marketing Manager) was on maternity leave. I had met her earlier in the previous year while I was doing marketing and photography for a winery and Netier hosted an event with us.

What drew you to Netier, and how has it shaped your growth?
When I first came in to meet the team at Netier, I was really shocked at how close everyone was and what a supportive environment it felt like. Working as a freelancer, I’ve worked in various offices and with a range of teams. And nowhere has come close to having the culture that I’ve experienced at Netier. From the amount of team events they do to how supportive they are of the people here, it has been a really positive experience for me.
How do your personal passions align with your work at Netier?
I love creating and making things. And Netier has always given me the freedom to explore new ideas and ways of doing things. I love the variety that I get working with Netier, and being in a role that allows me to use a range of creative skills. One day I could be working on a graphic design project, the next photography or video. All creative activities bring me a lot of joy.
In addition to that, I’m super passionate about health and wellbeing, and have been facilitating meditative sound journeys for a few years now. When Netier found out that I do this, they asked me if I could host a sound journey experience for Women’s Health Week. It was so nice to be able to share more of who I am and what I’m passionate about with the team.
What has been your most fulfilling experience at Netier?
Watching the Netier brand grow and being part of that development in a small way has felt really fulfilling for me. Working on developing the brand guidelines, photo libraries, and collateral has been super rewarding.
And this year, I’ve got to work on some exciting campaigns, pulling together creative ideas with the marketing team to produce videos such as Great Place to Work, About Us website videos and creating content for the Australian Rally Championship.

How has your role allowed you to grow?
I’ve been lucky enough to get to work on lots of different projects with Netier. When I started, I was doing generalist marketing tasks and graphic design. And gradually as they’ve grown, I’ve got to work on bigger and more creative campaigns. They helped me develop as a video maker, and my role now encompasses a variety of content creation.
What makes the culture at Netier unique?
The HR team work really hard to try and make Netier a really inclusive, positive environment to work in. It’s the little things that make all the difference – team events, little staff gifts, tokens of appreciation – just little ways that show that Netier really care about their people.
I’ve been working in-house a lot more this year and it’s been really fun to get to spend more time with the Netier team. I feel super lucky to have such a supportive environment to work in.
Why should someone consider joining Netier?
If you’re passionate about what you do, Netier can help you work towards your goals. They have such a focus on developing people and really want to get to know who you are and how you work best. It’s a unique place, where I feel you can really be yourself at work, make new friends and work towards developing your skills in a supportive environment.
