Netier actively participates in community focused initiatives, especially when they encourage health and wellbeing awareness. We run events alongside national initiatives designed to assist our team in developing their own awareness on important issues. Across the years we have been involved with Men’s Health Week, STEPtember and Movember. These events are always popular with team members as is widens their knowledge and deepens their understanding while fostering a positive mindset.
Healthy Lifestyle Initiatives
Research shows that there is a direct correlation between good physical health and positive emotions. Netier offers all employees a free gym membership with Eighty8 fitness, located only a short walk from our office at Canberra Airport. We also provide complimentary fruit as a healthy snack for all team members to enjoy when they like. We love seeing our employees take up these small but impactful initiatives as a way of boosting their physical wellbeing and subsequently their mental wellbeing too.

One On One Support
We believe continuous support is essential to foster a positive mindset for our employees. From day one all staff are provided with an abundance of support from fellow team members and senior management. As part of Netier’s new employee onboarding process, one on one introductions are arranged with each member of the leadership team. This is to ensure new employees gain a thorough understanding of who we are, our goals and the Netier team culture.
Following on from initial introductions, a weekly one on one catch up is formalised between each employee and their manager to provide continuous support and maintain open communication. Additional catch ups are always welcomed and can easily be arranged ad-hoc. Our goal is to provide as much or as little support you feel you need to exceed in your role.
Team Building Activities
Social inclusion and sense of belonging are vital to foster a positive mindset in any organisation, at Netier we do whatever IT takes to ensure this is made a reality. Initiatives such as team challenges, volunteer opportunities and social outings are arranged for team members to enjoy. We anticipate these team building activities will also foster a positive mental and emotional attitude.
Many incredible members of the community commit time out of their busy schedules to volunteer at organisations they are passionate about. Supporting the community that supports us is one of our core values at Netier. Our progressive volunteer policy at Netier permits one dedicated volunteer day per team member on full pay. This encourages staff to contribute back to our community during a weekday without having to rearrange their busy personal schedules.
